Bethany
Presbyterian Church is a community on a
journey. From its foundation in 1887 to
the present day, it is a congregation in
transition and growth. We are a family
growing daily in caring and love.
Ministries of Stephen Ministers, people
who become a listening ear for those in
crisis situations, and Bethany Helpers,
people who give temporary assistance to
those in crisis, are only two of the ways
we show our care. We are also a people
growing daily in spirituality. The
congregation has an active Prayer Chain,
continually lifting up the concerns of
people, whoever and wherever they may be.
Worship, study, and prayer groups work
for the growth in our relationship with
Jesus Christ. We have a strong belief in
the healing God brings us emotionally,
physically, and spiritually through
faith, prayer and the Holy Spirit. While
we have ministries that pray for healing,
we believe that all of our
ministries bring wholeness. Music,
preaching, prayer, fellowship, youth
ministry, Christian education all
minister to the needs of
individuals who long to be whole in his
or her relationship to God and to people.
All of this can be summed up in our motto
- "Caring for God's People on a
Journey of Faith, through God's healing word." We believe that
Bethany is an exciting place to be. Come
